🥳 Savvy Swaréy Turns FOUR!

Savvy Scoop: September 2026

Your monthly dose of budget-savvy celebrations and DIY fun.

Wow...FOUR YEARS! Someone may need to pinch me, because when I hit publish on my very first blog post in September 2022, I never imagined this little corner of the internet would still be going strong four years later.

I'm incredibly grateful for every one of you who reads a post, saves an idea, tries one of my DIYs—or quietly follows along from the sidelines.

However you found me and whatever has kept you here, thank you. 💛

So for this month's Savvy Scoop, I thought we'd do something a little different.

Instead of sharing what's new, I'm looking back at some of the ideas you've loved most over the last four years: the most-read blogs, most-saved inspiration and a few DIYs that took on lives of their own.

Some you may recognize. Some you may have completely missed.

And because four years feels worth celebrating, I have a little thank-you just for my Savvy Scoop subscribers at the end. 👀🥳🙌

🎥 The DIYs That Really Took Off

I've shared a lot of DIYs over the last four years, but every once in a while I post one that takes off in a way I absolutely did not expect.

These three definitely qualify!

🎄 The Christmas PJ Wreath

A fun Christmas project that turned matching family pajamas into part of the décor—and apparently I'm not the only one who loved it.

💍 The Hula Hoop Backdrop

Still one of my favorite examples of making wedding décor look expensive without actually spending a fortune.

🔐 The Lockbox Unity Ceremony

One of the more unexpected hits! It's an alternative wedding unity ceremony that couples continue to discover years later.

📌 What Pinterest Can't Stop Saving

Pinterest is actually one of my favorite ways to see which ideas resonate—because a save basically means “I want to remember this.”

Lately, these have been some of the standouts (click to save it to your Pinterest board!)

🎁 One More Thing...
A Little Thank-You for YOU

If you've made it all the way down here, first of all—I'm impressed. 😂

But more importantly, I couldn't celebrate four years of Savvy Swaréy without celebrating the people who have helped me get here.

So I'm giving four Savvy Scoop subscribers a $25 Amazon gift card!

Want a chance to win one? Simply reply to this email with the word FOUR.

That's it! I'll randomly select four winners on October 1 and notify them by email.

It's just my little way of saying thank you for being here. ❤️

Here's to year five! 🥂

Until next time,
